People who take this course want to change their accent to British because they know it will make them more respected.

Before changing their accent to British, they lost confidence in themselves or felt inferior in comparison to the native British. This problem is often most apparent in the workplace, where people who don't speak English as a first language say they have to work twice as hard as native speakers but still don't get treated with equal respect.

This loss of confidence and respect also affects a person's social life. You may have found that the native British aren't interested in getting to know you or that you never move beyond polite conversation with them. This experience can be isolating and frustrating, as people who feel on the outside don't understand what they are doing wrong.

In the UK, speaking with the right accent is very important, much more so than it is in other countries. Speaking "properly" and without making mistakes helps you to make the best possible impression and earns you respect. When you remove a foreign accent and instead speak with a near-native British accent, it demonstrates that you have mastered English and improved yourself to a very high level above others.

I also recommend that you learn what I call a 'near-native' British accent rather than a 100% British accent. The reason is because having a tiny trace of your original accent apparent in your English is charming and authentic. We are not trying to hide the fact that you come from a different country... We just want you to be a shining example of someone from your country. 

To get a British accent, you must do two kinds of accent training practice. Both kinds are included in my course: 

Technical accent training practice: This means learning about the small details of sound so that you know exactly how to pronounce words in a British accent.

Flow accent training practice: This means doing repeat-after-me exercises so that your words flow together naturally. The British Accent Training method of study is different to other accent training courses, and is a lot more effective, because it combines both types of accent training practice in a single course.
