Why I Made this Course

I noticed that many of my students had an interest in business-related topics and that they enjoyed discussing the latest business developments with me. We often spoke about big companies like Amazon, Netflix and Google in our lessons, and my students enjoyed sharing their opinions with me. The reason I made this course was because I wanted to provide them with the vocabulary they lacked in English in order to speak confidently about these topics. The course was not made for business experts or millionaires, but rather for ordinary people who found the topic interesting to speak about in a casual way. 

Who Will Benefit from Taking this Course

This course is made for English learners who are interested to learn specialist vocabulary to do with business. These are not the sort of words and expressions that people use in ordinary conversation, therefore the most effective way to learn them and start using them is by taking a dedicated course. I advise taking this course if you find the topic of business interesting, and would like to be more confident speaking about this topic in English.

Your English Level

To take this course, your English level needs to be intermediate or above. The course contains advanced vocabulary and expressions that are frequently used in business English.

The course consists of 8 different lessons, each on a different business English topic. Each lesson contains a vocabulary explanation, a short reading task, and an end of class quiz to check what you have learned. 

This is a short course, which can be completed in under a week. By the end of this course, you will be much more confident expressing yourself about business-related topics in English.
